Lunchtime series: Provocations and Inspirations (April 2025)
This is the second in a new, exciting series of lunchtime activities that, over a period of 12 to 18 months, will explore a highly complex topic of major importance to Australia today. The aim of the series is to explore the topic in-depth and to identify ways to influence the broader discourse. We want to provoke and inspire action.
Extreme Earth: Antarctica’s climate warning for the future and what we can all do about it

Venue: Union University and Schools Club, 25 Bent Street, Sydney (corner of Bent and Philip Streets)
Registration: Registration through Membes is required by 2.00 pm on Tuesday, 8 April 2025. Max: 33 attendees
Dress: Smart business casual (jacket preferred)
Cost: $60 (RSNSW members), $70 (non-member guests)
Note: The Royal Society of New South Wales collaborates with the Union University and Schools Club and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering in organising similar events.
